Reach the Youth Uganda

Reach the Youth Uganda (RTY) serves as the implementing partner on ICHAD Bridges to the Future and SUUBI+Adherence studies. RTY is a community based organization that provides supportive services to HIV/AIDS affected children, adolescents and families.

 

Rakai Health Sciences Program

Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) has a long standing partnership with ICHAD. Dr. Gertrude Natikogzi, RHSP’s Clinical Director, currently serves as the medical advisory on the ICHAD SUUBI+Adherence study. RHSP is one of the oldest community based programs and is a pioneer in working with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. RHSP works with HIV positive community members, and conducts innovative programming and research in HIV prevention and treatment.

 

Catholic Diocese of Masaka

The Catholic Diocese of Masaka has been instrumental in the success of ICHAD’s school-based research projects. The Catholic Church is an important community institution and a critical actor in the provision of education to community youth.

 

 

Centenary Commerce Bank

Centenary Rural Development Bank holds the majority of participant savings accounts on ICHAD Bridges to the Future and SUUBI+Adherence studies. The primary aim of Centenary Bank is to serve low-resource rural areas and to contribute to the overall economic development of Uganda.

Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis

KIPPRA is currently partnering with ICHAD on the Kenya Impact Assessment Study and the Kenya Text Messaging Study. KIPPRA is an autonomous think tank in Nairobi, Kenya providing cutting edge public policy research and analysis to the government of Kenya.

Kenya Post Office Savings Bank

Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank) is currently partnering with ICHAD on the Kenya Impact Assessment Study as the provider of Smata Accounts, which are savings accounts made especially for children. Postbank is a financial institution based in Nairobi, Kenya.
