Good Clinical Practice Training

On April 5, Andrea Morris and Susan Kienzle from Washington University’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, led a Human Research Quality Assurance workshop for ICHAD and SMART Africa employees. This workshop was broadcasted live to the ICHAD field office, which provided both St. Louis and Uganda team members an in-depth and interactive training session. Over 10 different topics were discussed over the course of this training. Some notable topics included consent/assent procedures, maintaining participant confidentiality, participant eligibility, and study implementation documentation.
