Qualitative Research Training

On August 14, ICHAD Co-Director Ozge Sensoy Bahar led a qualitative research methods training for the ICHAD-Uganda staff. The training gave a basic overview of qualitative data collection and focused on how to conduct qualitative interviews. The team will use the skills from this training in order to obtain a richer and deeper understanding of the participant’s experience as we roll out the newly-funded qualitative component of the Suubi4Her study (See new supplement funding above). The research team will be practicing and pretesting the qualitative interview questions over the next several weeks before heading to the field to conduct these interviews.
