ICHAD 2020 Annual Report

We are delighted to share with you our 2020 Annual Report.

Despite the challenging year, ICHAD remained quite busy. We received four new grants and an administrative supplement to support our ongoing research and training programs. We also hosted 25 trainees from three different NIH training programs during our first 10-week virtual training program. Further, the team collectively published 21 peer-reviewed articles in numerous well respected social science, public health and medical journals, with many more in the pipeline.

This important work could not be done without the support of our growing team. Our field staff in Uganda expanded to more than 50 Research Assistants and we opened two additional offices, including one in Kampala. We welcomed two new members to our U.S. team. We also have a wonderfully diverse team of 13 undergraduate, masters and PhD students receiving training and mentorship at our center. We hope you enjoy learning from this report and our innovative and impactful work as we invest in future generations around the globe!
